Aging in love

Friends since 9th grade in Hawaii, Jan and I still share the same values, same hopes for the world. She found Richard about 25 years ago, if my memory is right, and they are still, as you can see, very much in love. They're in Portland for a vacation, and we met for lunch, some impassioned talk about politics and morality, and a few photographs. Their love grows deeper and more playful as the years pass. This, young lovers of the world, is what you can aspire to, if you live long enough.
