Paper work ....

All systems go this morning. Started to turn the oat straw to help it dry as still quite breezy. The contractor came up about 10.30am and got the header on the combine and started on the barley. I had only turned about 10 rows and the combine was on the second turn round the field when the heavens opened. Grand total - 1 trailer load of wet grain and a lot of wasted time and diesel.
Put the decks in the trailer and filled in the paperwork ready for a load of lambs to Stirling tomorrow. Everything we do seems to revolve round forms of one kind or another. Should have got a job in a nice dry office with no worries about the weather !
