Kilmartin Museum

Today my boss, Michael Russell MSP sponsored a reception in the Scottish Parliament for Kilmartin Museum. They are also sponsored for an exhibition stand in the Parliament. One of the items they have had on the stand is this gorgeous brooch. They found the mould for it in the Glen during excavations - assuming most of the brooches it made were traded or sold. This is therefore a lovely replica. Very fascinating- looking forward to a proper trip to Kilmartin Museum soon.
