Weston, Hertfordshire

Jack and I lived in Weston over 20 years ago. We sometimes drive back there as it has some of our favourite walks. It was a lovely day today so we had a good long walk round lanes and fields. It is a really beautiful village, we wouldn't mind living there again. It has some amazing old buildings.

We came across this sign by the village pond that not only provides a map and some background information about Weston but also describes some of the oldest properties and what they were originally used for. What a good idea! I wonder if we could do this in our current village.....
