Star Gazing

A stop just over the border into Scotland on our epic road trip, thought I'd see if I'd get lucky with the Perseid meteor shower expected tonight. No meteors but a cracking sky.

The journey itself was fine. Managed to entertain myself listening to various bits on the BBC World Service. Learnt about the giant Galápagos turtle lonesome George the last of his kind, electric guitars, drug problems in India, internet data storage solutions in the US. All very interesting.

Straight to bed when home though!
