Cream tea and ......

..... a walk around Westerham!
As we were walking up to the square for a cream tea at Food for Thought ( a lovely name for a coffee/ tea shop !) we came across these carvings ( just before the church yard ) apparently the carvings were from fallen Beech trees from Squires court, a near by house open to visitors , they are new sculptures since I was last here. They make for a new interest , as Westerham has lots of tourists it's rather good to see things representing the area . We then passed the church, rather plain inside but has a lot of visitors and it is always open, which is rare these days, such a shame,
Then we enjoyed tea ( with real tea leaves and a strainer !!!! ) it is a cosy shop and a lovely atmosphere . Sorry if I bore you as I've blipped it many times before.

Happy ..... to continue stretching out the summer day weather! , and to have heard from both my daughters today, how lucky am I ?
