Planetoid

Nature's own orrery sports flower bud planets and raindrop moons.  This Mexican bird of paradise flower cluster reminds me of the orrery--a mechanical representation of the solar system showing the planets' and moons' motion relative to one-another--my third-grade science teacher had.  That machine was one of the things that inspired me to pursue a science-oriented life.
