Keeping an eye on things

Travelling up to London during the Olympics was odd - the train seemed more like a weekend with very few suits around (and lots more children than normal). Made quite a nice change! Oxford Street was quiet, but not as much so as I had been led to believe. Scorching hot day though.

Our office on Southbank was officially closed so it was very odd to wonder around all the empty desks, and hot with the aircon having been turned off. A couple of pints at the pub with a friend setting the world (and work) to rights - wo thought of going to see the new Batman film at the Imax, only to discover it was sold out. Decided to go to the local cinema in the evening to see it instead :-)
