How lucky can you be?

Still feeling very tired from yesterday, I'd originally only intended to go to the nearest supermarket for today's shopping, but it looked such a lovely day that I made myself go for a walk first. It was only supposed to be a short walk but I was lucky to spot so much wildlife, that it ended up lasting nearly an hour. Most of that time I just stood still though trying not to disturb the various subjects while I took their photos.

Trying to decide which shot to blip was definitely not an easy choice but eventually I picked this Peacock, because this butterfly has been such a rare sight this year. Some of the other photos have been posted as extras.
