Back blip. "Farewell Masseret, Hello Chartres"

We left our beautiful woodland, lakeside campsite with its colourful little chalets and had quite a long drive to Chartres. It was a grey day as we drove up and down over the valleys on the edge of the Massif Central and across the route of wheat plateau. The evening sun and blue sky lit the leaves in this wooded site on the banks of the River Eure.
