Into the Abyss

Drizzle again.  
Snails are out and about. 
Thought I might set up a snail race but the little blighters would not sit quietly waiting for the starter's gun so had to abandon that idea.
Got this little fellow looking into the gap between the garden table slats; it eventually decided to slide over the gap and made its escape - see extra
