Ardnamurchan Lighthouse (1849)

Once a decade is enough for me to repeat the drive to Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. But in that decade it has developed an exhibition, and even opened the tower for visitors. One of the retired keepers greets those who have made the drive and climbed the stairs to the light with some dry observations on life as a keeper.

Later, we walked from Portuairk to Sanna for some more white sand shenanigans.
