On Piltdown Pond

The Goslings that I photographed here on 27th May are now fully grown (well, most of them, I assume) and the Pond is currently supporting a huge population of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis), along with a handful of Greylag Geese (Anser anser). (There are actually far more geese on the pond than are visible here!)

Also, since the sun had been notable by its absence for much of the day, I couldn't resist the sight of the late afternoon sunlight glinting on the lake (see today's 'Extra')...
