Tiny bird

I see a lot of these tiny birds.  Yesterday morning one landed on my window ledge and I managed to get this shot of it.  It was very hot and he was using his wing to keep the sun off.  He gave up and went back to the relative cool of a tree. 

This is a back blip as yesterday day I  was busy with hairdressers and nails, we went to the car wash.  Finally I cooked dinner.  Now to most of you that is normal, however, last night was the first time I had cooked a full meal here.  My kitchen is small and producing chilli con carne was not as easy as it sounds.  There were cries of "help, I've run out of space."    So hubby had to hold pans and things while I reorganised.  It was good fun, as long as it is only an occasional occurrence.  This meal was supposed to happen on Monday, but we had a two hour power outage to our building.  We were forced to go out..
