Gran's New Shoes

My Mum was 94 last Monday (see blip for 19th) and I said I would get he some new shoes as a present. This has proved very challenging due to the various problems she has with her feet. Eventually today we found a pair that she finds comfortable (hurray!) I also bough her some black socks in M&S as the white ones she has really don't look hugely good! She made me laugh though. She told the shop assistant that she has loads of white socks back from when she used to play tennis a lot. This means they must be at least 65 years old!! They don't make things like they used to!
