Will made a Bakewell tart today, my main contribution was rolling the pastry, he had a go with the leftovers to make jam tarts.

And a very fine tart it was too, the best thing we have made in this project. We didn't had red food dye to make the ripple effect Mary specified but Will was delighted to find edible blue glitter instead. A Triumph all round.
