Errands

Everything feels very different to freshers week at St Andrews. It's much more independent with a couple of activities each day to get involved with. It's giving me lots of time to explore and get settled in though, which is great. Today I went on a big explore around the River Cam, watching the rowers and punters (I don't think that's their actual name...)

I have now come into town to check out the college library. It's very quiet at the moment (only two other people are inside) but that makes sense as the freshers don't arrive until Wednesday and the returning undergraduates until the weekend. It took me a while to get inside though - everything seems very confusing at the moment! I also haven't figured out how to get upstairs yet, but that can be a challenge for another day. 

Now to go shopping for a few things before buying a bike, joining a gym, and going out for the first college meet up!
