Bank Holiday Bike Ride

Queen's birthday here in WA so a day off for most. We spent the morning watching the NFL football (Cowboys rookie QB and RB duo looking sharp) and chilling out. For the afternoon we jumped on our bikes and went for a loop around the Swan River. Between the Narrows bridge and Heirisson Island.

First time we'd both used our new bikes and we both loved it. Well, after we'd adjusted Jen's brakes so they actually made her bike stop, always useful! Took the cycle paths the whole way. It was so easy and just a really enjoyable ride.

You can see from the photo I was also testing my new action camera out. Mixed results with the videos out. Mostly bits not being very interesting but all a learning process! Not really done much video work before so I'll just have to practice!
