Race Day

The Wanaka Nordic Ski Club organised sprint races for men and women. Four skiers were the maximum for each field. In this heat we see a Russian in the lead followed by a Japanese, and then another Russian. The men's final had 4 Russians in it, they were all superb skiers, some of the world's best in fact. What a fun morning of skiing for them and spectacors like me.
