Operation Roo

We've got builders in at the moment knocking out a wall to fit a French door in, Theo would've loved looking out into the garden but sadly it was done to late.

I thought I'd quickly do a two minute job outside which I did and as normal I counted the dogs back in, thus has become a routine as it was always difficult to see Kanga at night. It's still something I'm having a problem with going from 10 to 9 then even quicker to 8.

All accounted for bar Chingar, she has done this before gone through our tightly packed hedge into next doors garden heard her clicker and attempted blindly to come back.

No sign of her, so I checked all the neighbours gardens, no sign of her I walked up to the church across the field, asking everyone I saw still no sign.

I called the local police who said they would hand my number over if anyone called with a lost dog. For an hour and a half I looked walking main roads not knowing what is come across.
My next plan was a wider search so I got in the car, just as I pulled out of my road I saw a young guy putting a note on the local phone box ( the joys of living in the country is these still exist) they had found her wondering in their rather large garden, their house I had secretly lusted after since I moved in a beautiful old cottage, there she was smugly eating some food in a large conservatory

A happy ending I'm glad to say as I really don't know how I could've lost a third dog in a week.

I've learnt my lesson now she will be kept an eye on in future.

Roo on the other hand had fun at boot camp.

I need advice Theo was our Alphaand since he's been gone Roo has taken to standing staring at me and barking for attention any ideas he's normally well behaved.
