Bench

Sebastien was trying out the newly re-painted benches at Starr Gardens with his dad  this morning while I cleaned the house from the mess of a few small construction projects. 

When they came back, Sebastien took one look at his room and said "Mommy cleaned the house." Then he looked at the Cider-hair free rug in the dining room and said, "Mommy cleaned the rug." And before his nap, he kept chanting over and over, "I'm going to go to sleep in my nice clean room."

Not that the house was crazy dirty before, but he notices the little things and makes me feel appreciated. He's earning some pretty big brownie points there.
