Ripples in the sky

After a very long day at the wedding yesterday, today was quite busy as it was daughter’s birthday. Wife and daughter spoke yesterday and we understood we would be cooking birthday dinner at ours for her and family. A phone call just late morning indicated a slight miscommunication – we were to cook the dinner and take it over to hers! It took a little time to calm wife down so we could prep and cook. In the end it was a great success and everyone enjoyed the birthday dinner and two birthday cakes.

My blip today is a shot of part of the sky I noticed on my return journey from the birthday shopping trip.  Some of the clouds appeared like the ripples in the sand on a beach…
