Cygnet 2

I blipped this cygnet for MonoMonday last week.  Here it is again, around lunchtime today.

This morning I caught the bus into town, intending to walk down the river south of the city.  I had forgotten the whole place would be convulsed over the Winchester half-marathon.  There were an incredible number of runners raising money for Cancer Research.  I have nothing but admiration for them and what they are doing, but somehow I wasn't tempted to stick around for a blip and rather guiltily kept to plan A.  And although I didn't walk far it was warm and astonishingly beautiful.

Thanks so much for all the stars and heart yesterday, they were much appreciated, one and all.
