Looking forward to the rut!

We called in at Dalmain for soup and cheese scones...delicious!

There must be at least 50 deer in the park...this handsome lad is looking forward to the rut!

Before then we stopped to see clickychick and Richard in their studio which was open for C Art. Great to meet up again! Nice cup of coffee too!

We also saw the sheep and lambs ( Go Herdwick! ) which have been gathered together at Rheged. ( see 'extra' photo )

They will raise lots of money when they are sold at auction...guide price over one thousand each! All the money is going to The Calvert Trust which offers challenging outdoor activities for disabled people. You can put a bid in online...Go on! You know you want to!
