Arse
Time for a brief catch-up with Lynn over toast and coffee, then we headed down to Kings Cross for a train home. It was quite crowded, and our carriage was chosen by a stag party, whose hyper-activity, posturing (to each other) and nervy over-loud laughter was very irritating. I'd forgotten that I used to avoid Friday trains if possible due to the number of hens and stags.
We'd assumed we had their company for the full 4.5 hours to Edinburgh, so when they suddenly jumped up and got off the train at Newcastle the relief amongst the remaining passengers was almost palpable. The rest of the journey was very quiet. We tottered home, ate a take-away from the China Palace, and collapsed into bed. Unfortunately the only photo i found in my camera was of one of the stags, as he got up to leave (this wasn't the one that had collapsed drunkenly on DaveH).
