Loch Coruisk

Having been on my list for a couple of decades, finally the day had arrived. We headed to Elgol and hopped aboard the Bella Jane skippered by the perfectly named Robert Bruce to cross Loch Scavaig into the heart of the Black Cuillin.

The weather was perfect and we made good use of our too brief sojourn in the wildest landscape this country offers.

On the return The Bruce slowed the boat to play with a pod of dolphins in Loch Scavaig. What a day!
