'Golden Wedding Anniversary'

Well we made it and what a fabulous day it's been. We drove to Chandlers Ford this morning to stay with my daughter and family.
Kelly is a very thoughtful and creative girl and had a lovely surprise waiting for us. A beautiful table laid for lunch, cup cakes with edible 50th Anniversary messages on each one and a cake with our Wedding photo made with icing (courtesy of Asda)
The planter is made up by her...(not the box)...and is gorgeous. Very big so hopefully it will fit in the car to go home. I'm thrilled with it. Finally a beautifully framed picture which I will Blip tomorrow...again hand made.

This evening we went to a Thai restaurant in Romsey and had a really nice meal. A wonderful day and tomorrow three football matches to watch with Thomas, Peter and little nine year old Alex playing...then tenpin bowling and Pizza as a share in our celebrations.
