Massive Irrgation Scheme

This is one pond of seven in the Sth. Canterbury massive irrigation scheme at Arundle.
Thr scheme is capable of storing 16.5 cubic metres of water in the seven ponds. It is at capacity at present. This scheme will be capable of irrigating 16,000 hectares between the Rangitata and Orari rivers, and currently 33 users and their farms are using this water.
