Whittle

I live in Lutterworth (Leicestershire) a town with two big claims: 
1/ Its where John Wycliffe first translated the Bible into English
2/ its where Sir Frank Whittle first successful tested his new invention the Jet Engine. As a memorial the roundabout at the edge of the town has a life size model of the first jet aircraft. I have in recent weeks thought it might make a good photo subject as I have driven past on the start of my various travels so today i took my life in my hand and ran out to it.I think it was worth the risk :)

Apologies for the late responses ad lack of comments recently ..the start of term means work is back at full speed and I have to take my chances when I can. I still love looking at the many amazing posts put on here  daily :)
