Come to me

This is picture was taken on a solo contemplative walk around Pitsmoor this morning.
As I walked and reflected on life here I listened to music on my iPod. Mostly Arvo Pärt's Adam's Lament. I have lived here for 30 years now and I love the colourful diversity and the community spirit, It can also be a tough place with life often being a struggle for meant. I have always been shown fantastic welcome and hospitality. Here so I was happy to be wearing a safety pin to as a sign of 'safe space' for the many refugees who pass through here.
Last week a friend and I sang together a song from the Wildgoose Resource Group that "Come to me, come tome, weak and heavy laden; trust in me, lean on me, I will give you peace".
