Girly Day

The girls and I made good use of Mr L still working! He has 2 more weekends of work after this one, before 'returning to retirement' as he insists on calling it.

So, first we went to the sandy beach, the one with the glove fence and took Dog. We spent an hour, walking, sitting, and letting Dog play with some other poodles before heading back home. We did the mundane things like the laundry as I still had their school uniforms to wash before making our way to Lathe Farm at Burmarsh, in the delightfully named Donkey St. Just a small farm with some petting animals too but a lovely tea room and relaxed and peaceful environment.

I have to take them to their aunt tomorrow and will pop in to visit my friend who is struggling. Not sure if she will really want to see me as she is doing the Shine Walk tonight and may well prefer to sleep!
