Hi Cambridge!

I'm finally here!! Today was very busy. We had to pick up the keys for my house, collect mail from my pigeonhole, move all my bags up two flights of stairs into my room, unpack, connect to the internet, buy a gown, and buy food. It didn't help that everything was at completely different parts of town! But I'm in my room now and it is absolutely wonderful. I'm on the top floor of a house with 12 rooms on a lovely residential street 10 minutes walk from the city centre. I requested a small room because it was £100 cheaper a month than a large - I have no idea how big the large ones are as mine is huge!! You can't really tell from the photos but it's very long and then curves round at the end for a bed. I really couldn't have asked for a better place to live.

All the graduates from my college live on this street as the university bought the whole road so I should be able to meet up with other people easily. I've met the two girls living on my floor and they seem lovely - although they're in their final years so won't have much socialising time. The first fresher social is Monday so I have a bit of rest time until then. I have already managed to unpack everything though - a new time record for me! Now it's finally time to get into bed and relax :)
