was talking at the inaugural Byres Road Book Festival this afternoon - and good value she was too.

Particularly interesting to hear how she keeps coming up with new ideas for her writing deliberately avoiding the trap of producing endless (and ever diminishing) sequels for a lead character. A rarity among tartan noir writers.

More power to her elbow for that approach!
