Liverpool Biennial (4?): inside Toxteth Reservoir

Toxteth Reservoir is an amazing building, with sloping Egyptianesque (my word I'm afraid) external walls, and internal brick vaulting supported on cast iron columns. It was built in the 1850's and stored 3 million gallons of drinking water. Now Grade 2 listed it was decommissioned in 1997. For the biennial it is hosting a large scale laser installation by Rita McBride.
