wee dote

Mum and I got up and had a cooked breakfast at the hotel :) Then we got the airport bus into Glasgow and met up with Lucy! Mum shopped for a couple of hours and I went for a coffee and a catch-up with my best friend. So lovely!

After that, mum and I headed to the train station and got the next available train through to Edinburgh. Once we were there, we got a taxi to our AirBnB find! What a gorgeous place we managed to get. It's in Abbeyhill and a 10-minute walk to the Palace, Arthur's Seat, Princes Street! Perfect location.

We got ourselves settled in and then Ryan and Natasha arrived with baby Kaiyan! So exciting to see them and to meet the wee darlin'. I held him for a bit and then he fell asleep in my arms. Gorgeous. 

Was great to see Tash!! Once Kaiyan woke up, we headed round to the Safari Lounge for an early dinner. After that, I couldn't do anymore; it's amazing how I just can't push myself like I could before. Once I reach tiredness point, I can't go any further! 

Brilliant first day getting to see my two best friends and meet the wee one :)
