Some Doves-foot Cranesbill (I think) on the corner of a derelict plot on our road; a large sprawling house that was until recently occupied by squatters, at some point it looks like someone had started a conversion to multiple occupancy but stopped halfway through. Cracked windows, ad-hoc modifications, huge holes in the walls and it still sold for north of £800k. 

Music: I'd seen Butch Walker's new album drift by a couple of time so though it might be worth a listen. There's imitation born of the desire to flatter and there's parody; I think this falls into the latter camp. East Coast Girl is so close to Kid there should be a lawsuit involved. Plenty of none-too-subtle nods to Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams too. Ryan Adams on the other hand...
