Flowerfriday23 Sunshine and sunflowers

Today the sun and warmth had returned and we seem to be enjoying an Indian Summer again.  Today is my alternative flower day, as always, in the shape of Violet: we took advantage of the sunshine by taking her for a walk at Connaught Water where she took great delight in throwing (suitable) food to various ducks and geese.  She also managed to walk half way round the lake before tiring - quite a distance considering how recently she has got to her feet.

Meanwhile, back at home I had bought some very cheery sunflowers, which I took outside to take a shot for today's blip.
