Surprise

It was a lovely spring day today. I was pottering around and came across a pot full of these tulips. I know I didn't order this variety as the colour really doesn't go with any thing else in the garden but they are rather nice.

We had a picnic lunch at our daughters new place. They haven't moved yet but went out with food and the gardening equipment.

I also trimmed the crepe myrtle and notice the aphids have found the new leaves on the roses. Planted more poppies in the pot with the fig tree. The lilies are up and new growth is everywhere.
