From the NE ....

to the SW.

In just over 24 hours I have gone from coffee in the Princes Street Gardens to tea and cake in the Royal Parade Gardens in Bath!

Situated in the heart of the city alongside the River Avon these former Abbey Gardens are a haven below the busy roads and tourist filled city centre, much like Edinburgh.
Here you can see the weir and Pulteney Bridge. We had a pleasant couple of hours in the city before meeting son in law John from work for a drink and walking to the 'village' of Larkhall and it's super little theatre, The Rondo.
Grace was performing in Stephen Sondheim's musical 'Company'. I didn't know the show before but it was fast paced and funny and most enjoyable.
Met Grace and most of the cast after for a curry.
Staying over in Bristol.
