Pied Stilts

I hope I have that right. I am at a photographic convention in Wellington and what a fantastic day I have had.
This morning speakers and a macro workshop, hand held with flash. We had praying mantis, a ghekko and other little insects on branches. This afternoon out taking birds and practising with my new lens with varying success. Got a kingfisher, pukekos as well. Off out to a dinner tonight but first the hope is to get the sunset over the harbour.
Not managing photos on my iPad so well, it is real hit and miss
