Hanmer Bridge

On my way to Nelson, I've stopped at Hanmer for the night to catch up with friends.

I pulled in to take photos of the bridge and found that my van engine has sprung a water leak. Note
to self: remember to fill water containers so I can top up regularly for the rest of the trip to Nelson. Best book her in for repairs on Monday. Until then there's not much point in worrying as there's not much I can do about it.

I always like the view from here, and today you get a sense of perspective with the jet boat under the bridge. That is a big commercial jet boat - seats 12. Yucky weather as you can see, but the hot pools are enjoyable in any weather.
