Decisions decisions...
This is not my original blip for today. I had a HDR image of my barbecue lined up, flames and everything! It has been edited and at the ready. However, my better half Darren retuned home unexpectedly from a camping trip with our two youngest boys Alex and Edward, apparently they had camped at the side of a river and spent most of the evening being a human blood bank to the resident midges and mosquitoes. So home they are... JOY!
So we had our lovely BBQ and as Darren was doing the washing up the evening sun burst through a low cloud casting a beautiful golden glow all around. Quickly I ran for my camera and took this shot as he looked through the window into the oncoming sunlight. Beautiful, I adore the colours of the evening sun warming, giving everything a golden hue.
So hence my late blip. Maybe tomorrow I will do a HDR image. I know many dont like HDR. I think there is a time and a place for them. I either enjoy a hdr image when it has been changed and is so subtle (landscapes) or over the top and bold (fire and urban structures). Not everyone's cup of tea. Not my cup of tea especailly when hdr is overdone...eurgh!
Heres two examples of my HDR
