Deep purple -with gin

The damsons are perfectly ripe and taste so good ! Now this bowlful is packed in the kilner jar with gin .
A first attempt for me . Hopefully it will be nice at Christmas.
Also we had a very nice purple pudding tonight with creme fraiche :)
