Wound up in Wexford

Building site

Glorious autumn weather.  There's something about the light in autumn.  I worked a 5 to midnight shift last night, but wanted to attend an IT training session today, starting at 9am.  So I yawned my way through the morning.

This is the building site featured back in March - there's been good progress.

After returning home, I spent 30 min on the phone to my mobile company.  Two days ago, I used the "live chat" facility to complain that texts were taking some hours (at least) to get through to their recipients, and after checking my account, the person on the other end suggested that it could be my Sim card, and sent me a new one.  I put that into the phone yesterday afternoon, and it hasn't yet registered to my network.  So I spent a frustrating 30 minutes on the phone today, trying to sort it out, the final conclusion being that the Sim card is probably faulty, and I need to find time to visit the local phone shop in the next few days, where they will "sort the whole thing out".

With an already packed schedule between now and next Friday morning, the last thing I really needed was to spend time queuing in the local Vodafone  shop, but that's what I now need to do tomorrow.
