Perfect Autumn Day

An appointment first thing at the garage to pick up my new car and then took it on it's first trip to the coast at Gurnard overlooking the Solent. It was a perfect day for the start of Autumn with blue sky, flat calm sea and comfortably warm. Coffee and cake at a favourite cafe went down well whilst watching the world go (slowly) by.

In the afternoon I fitted a new letter box to my front door. What should have been a 5 minute job ended up taking 45 minutes, 20 of which was spent trying to get it out of the packaging.
