In case you didn't see my post yesterday- a great Blipfriend John Dodds ( JC Dodds) died last week.

His wife Clare, posted this on Facebook.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that John died last Friday as a result of complications related to the Pulmonary Fibrosis that had been diagnosed earlier this month.

John was such a lovely person- we had both been blipping for over three years and he was one of my first subscribers. He had a great interest in horse racing, cricket and The John Buchan Society.

John was very generous in his comments- always complimentary about a photograph or a situation that was being explained. He was highly intelligent - a Cambridge graduate.... a senior civil servant working at the Treasury.... One time adviser to Gordon Brown...

I will miss him dearly.
