Dazzled

We decided to get away from the fashion circus that is Milan at the moment and take a day trip to Bergamo. I must admit I had heard really nothing about the town, but what a delight. The town consists of two parts and both were interesting. The higher town can be reached by a funicular railway and is like a jewel box of architectural styles.
Including this church with the most ornately painted ceilings.
