Snakes Hair?

Just a Dahlia in the Garden, name unknown to me, but if I were to give her a name it would have to be 'Medusa the Gorgon'. Not a pretty name for a flower, but it comes to mind every time I see it. One of the least endearing stories from Greek mythology, although as a wee lad I admired Perseus for his adventurous wanderings. I recently came across other Gorgons in translating Virgil's Aeneid, and still did not take to them.
