Super Frosted
Did another extreme HDR. Total eye-candy overload but I like the look of it.
You can see we still have snow. There was no new snow but the temperature did not go above 25F (-4C) so the roads are still bad. So no school. No venturing out. Just stayed warm and cozy inside. No school tomorrow either. We might get stir crazy soon!
Our friends who were visiting had to walk from our house to the metro downtown this morning at 5am, as there was no way to get a taxi. That's a 20 minute walk over slipper streets in 20F or less. We really need to get snow chains. Anyway, they made it to the airport in one piece. We had a really great time with them. Hopefully this is a yearly thing.
Today we also learnt that the wife of a very close friend of ours passed away last Saturday. She had been bravely battling brain cancer. A nicer couple you could not meet. She was only 30 years old too. I talked to my friend tonight. I'm hoping he can make it out to stay with us in the near future. Last time we saw him was at their wedding three years ago....
