At the bar...

...after an enjoyable morning at the Shrewsbury Flower Show, Arthur and Bill look out to marvel at the Martian Flying Saucer one last time as it takes off to begin its long journey home.

Thoughts of an optimistic pessimist:
It's the start of the footy season and I'm off to see a great game as Shrewsbury play at Leeds in "Whateverthenewname Cup" tomorrow. (Hoping for the best.)
The coach will be late, it'll break down en route and we'll arrive just as Leeds score their fifth goal. Oh, and when we finally manage to get a beer, it'll be warm and flat. (Expecting the worst.)
